Quick Bjorn Shido update summary:
Shido Network:
Our chain is a big achievement despite our small MC. We focus on developing the chain more because Shido should not EVER be average. We should be second to none. We won’t be complacent.
The Tera upgrade will deliver a level of performances on par with the very best in the industry. The mainnet release of Tera is on time (will of course depend on testnet response). Also, a MEV protection is coming with the network upgrade. The roadmap extends all over 2026 with more things such as the database logic rebuild. All this will open the doors for RWAs in the future.
With both the infrastructure and our strong community, sky is the limit.
Perpetuals trading:
On chain order books coming with the Tera upgrade. We are building a system with A and B books. Basically a system allowing Shido to have the order books on chain while using the liquidity from others (until Shido can build its own liquidity). Will go along side with a Dex rebuild and prediction markets with news in 2026. Bjorn expects a lot of volume with the prediction markets and wants to implement a burn mechanism on it (something that the competition does not have).
On chain building:
Bubbleswap, super fast, clean and easy swap. Accompanied by an AI assistant to do all the work for you.
ShidoNameService allowing you to create your own identity onchain with everything you need and a marketplace.
Aetheria, the AI agents platform with ownership, a marketplace and more, stay tuned.
Aetherflux, all in one dashboard for users and more.
All those utilities could be high market cap projects on other chains like ETH on their own.
Market conditions:
We have been doing great despite the market conditions. Bjorn believes that we have been able to get a lot of attention thanks to the refocus on fundamentals and not just hype.
Shido is ready to perform over time. We are aiming longterm. And throughout the current year, the infrastructure has been optimised, renegotiated contracts also. All for the long term sustainability.
CEXs:
Bjorn is a DeFi advocate. But he is fully conscious of the importance of CEXs. Just not any CEXs, T1 are the ones that can align with our ambitions and brand. So yes, CEXs will come in the future.
More Shido space updates will come in the future. Bjorn is always around and even if you don’t hear from him directly, it’s usually because he is in the lab cooking.

Another Friday, another Cartesi Weekly with the latest updates from across the ecosystem 🐧
The Cartesi RISC-V Solidity Emulator, which is the onchain version of the Cartesi Machine, just got an update. A new PR adds improved memory translation, including support for managing the Translation Lookaside Buffer (TLB) and a dedicated shadow TLB area in memory. This makes the emulator more accurate and closer to how the real Cartesi Machine works. Learn more:

Joao Garcia shared insights on fraud proofs and ZK proofs, and why both still matter as core validation mechanisms for rollups in a ZK-leaning world.
